DanZak, born and brought up in Tanzania, East Africa till the age of 12 where he was sent to Oman for high school. DanZak, a stubborn child he was, did not make it to 2 years in Oman, was then moved to Rwanda, Central Africa for his Secondary education. In the year 2004, he moved back to Tanzania, and that is when he started visiting studios and learning more in recording and producing music.

DanZak started music at a young age during his secondary education in Rwanda where his music class teacher invited him to his home studio. DanZak's first song was done in swahili called "nyoka"(snake) which was on a similar flow as R.Kelly's song-Snake.

In 2006, DanZak joined TNG Squad, a bongoflava crew in Tanzania where he got to practice his singing. July 7th, 2006 DanZak released his first solo single in "Swahili" language named "Nafissa" which was a hit in many radio stations in the country. He continued music in Tanzania and made his name into charts. Towards end 2006, DanZak performed along other famous artists in East Africa at Club La Casa Chikah in his home city where he got the whole crowd jumping, this was a street talk for few weeks. DanZak's family wasn't happy with with DanZak's musical talent decidedhence he was sent to Oman where he had to either study/work and focus on other things other than music.

On February 2007, DanZak got employed with an International Logistics company (not mentioning the name) where he thought that was the end of his music. Mid-2007, Hamdan Zakwani (DanZak) started an events organization named "Music MasterPiece (M.M.P)"and got back in the game. He was focused in parties, concerts and music productions.

In February 2008 he got employed with an International Bank (not mentioning the name) where he had more time to his music due to the well balanced work/personal life thing...  DanZak continued music and linked up with Joey Jo, Smokey Smoke, Scooby and DJ More where they all brought their ideas together and started again a new phase of music. This time he sang nor Bongoflava neither in swahili, DanZak now got into RnB/Pop and shifted from singing in Swahili to English. It was nice learning to do things in a different way and it continued to be the same hobby.

In January 2009, DanZak left banking and moved to Australia for further studies. He now felt the freedom and thought of getting serious with his music. DanZak managed to get his production up and moving. He came back to the game with a HIT featuring Jay Weezle named "Omani Queen" and was all about what he saw in his Omani Queen. Following the Omani Queen, DanZak released tracks like Hope, Head Shoulders Knees & Toes, Wifey, Love Letter and a lots more which spread like fire.

He has worked with various artists and Produvers like A.K.D from Oman, YungStarz from Oman, DK from Oman, Joey Jo from Oman, Smokey and Scooby from Oman, Salma from Australia, Symeon from France, The Analyst from Nedherlands, ProzpectMuzic from USA, Kajmir Royale from USA, KJ from India, Low Rhyders from India, G Procutions from Tanzania  and also Taqwa and SumaLee from Tanzania.
